Barber paradox.

A barber is somebody who shaves people; so if he shaves himself is he still considered a barber?

Bertrand Russell had this Hamletic doubt, but here we are going to talk about etymology.

"Barber" comes from Latin "Barba" (same in Italian) meaning "Beard"( that derives instead from the Proto-Germanic "Bard") hence the English "Barber".

Now that we know the reason why we are not going to the "Bearder", I'm going to shave ( no paradox intended..)

Pier.
