Bottle or a Glass?

It’s the eternal dilemma .. Should we go for a glass or the whole bottle?

“Bicchiere” (meaning “Glass) comes from the old Greek “Bikos” ( a vase used for ..wine) while “Bottiglia” (“Bottle”) derives from Latin “Buticula” and indicates again a container for wine.

Now the question that arises here is: “Was anybody drinking water by any chance”?..

Help me with the conundrum..
