Buon Anno!

That's how Italians greet each other during this festive season.

"Anno" (meaning "year"in English) derives from the Latin word "Annum" which is the origin of words like "Annual", "Annuity", "Millennial" etc. ( just in case you were wondering about the double "N" in English..)

"Anno Nuovo, Vita Nuova" Italians say ( New Year, New Life).

Auguri a tutti and enjoy my little nuggets!

Pier.
