Dentist

There are always a plethora of thoughts that wonder our mind while we're going to the dentist, but if you are like me you might be thinking "Why am I not going to the toothist?".

"Dentist" (In Italian Dentista) comes from Latin "Dens" (Tooth) plus the suffix "Ist", used to indicate a person who holds principles or who practices something ( from Latin- Ista, from Greek -Istes).

So.. an eye for an eye a dent for a dent..(lex talionis).
