Like the deserts miss the rain.

Antoine de Saint Exupery wrote: "What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well".

"Desert" ("Deserto"in Italian) derives from Latin"Deserere" meaning "To abandon" from "De"+"Serere" meaning "To tie", "To link".

The word "Desert" has multiple meanings (and different way of being pronounced in English); what is interesting is the plural form often used to indicate something that is "Deserved"as in "Got his just deserts"(Webster's dictionary).

That's it for today. I'll be here tomorrow..

( just in case you miss my posts already..)
