The Importance of Being Earnest

In Italian "L"Importanza di chiamarsi Ernesto" but something went wrong with the translation.

"Ernesto" (Ernest) it's just a common name in Italian so we ( Italian readers) were missing the irony.

Hence, we decided to change it into "L'importanza di essere Franco " (The importance of being Frank") so it could make more sense (although the main character's name is Jack..)

The moral of the fable?

Jack, Frank, or Ernest, it doesn't matter if you can write like Oscar

(The Importance of Being Wilde..).

Pier.
